Applications are now open for the 2013 UNSW Minerals Summer School (UMSS). Students who are currently in Years 10 or 11, and are interested in Science and Engineering, are encouraged to apply.
The program will be held from 7 - 10 January, 2013 and will begin at the UNSW Campus where students will participate in introductory lectures and laboratory sessions, before travelling to the Hunter Valley and/or NSW Central West, where they will visit surface and underground mining operations and other important environmental, rehabiliation and geological sites along the way.
